Chrissa and Nate’s wedding – or should I say epic day to remember? What an amazing one! Chrissa chose a blue and white palette and the florals by Millie May Blooms were breathtaking. The flowers lining the aisle of the chapel with the view of the lake in the background were awe-inspiring, especially combined with the sounds of strings from Emily Burak. Not only did the 9 beautiful bridesmaids wear blue but the 250 guests were adorned in shades of blue and black as well, adding to the already stunning Gardenia venue.
The ladies looked fab with hair and makeup by She is Art beauty and Chrissa just glowed in her bridal gown from Patsy’s bridal. The bride’s “something borrowed” was the veil from her twin sister, married just 6 months before.

Guests dined on Italian fare from Five Star Event Catering and a full bar and champagne tower from HD Liquid Catering. The bow bridal cake and sports groom cake were delish!
Intensity Band kept the dance floor packed and everything was captured by Nathan and Zoey photography, Fansler Media and Southern Bash content creation. Guests also had fun at the photo booth from Meraki Light Booth.

Since mom is a planner herself and owner of Southern Bash, the entire day was flawless due to the outstanding Southern Bash planning team. After daughter #1’s wedding in September, I knew it would be a challenge to pull off another awesome event just 6 months later, but we did it!
After a late-night snack of the couple’s favorite – Dominos Pizza, we added a touch from the groom’s Louisiana family – a second line send off with the Intensity band horn section.

Chrissa says, “The best thing about our wedding was getting married, of course! But, after that, it was hiring a band! The energy they brought was amazing and it got everyone on the dance floor the entire night. You seriously cannot go wrong with a live band.”
Chrissa also has some advice for future brides – “Soak up the whole day. Trust people when they say time flies because it really does, especially on your wedding day. Enjoy all the little moments all the way until the end of the night. By the way – the only way to do that is to hire a planner!”
