Brittany and Matthew's love story began in 2017 at Edinboro University. Brittany, a freshman on the university’s soccer team, met Matthew, a sophomore competing on the wrestling team. From their first meeting on campus, a connection began to grow that would one day lead them down the aisle.
The proposal came on a beautiful summer day, July 23rd. Matthew told Brittany they were attending an important work dinner, but he had something much more memorable planned. He took her to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens, a quiet and serene location that set the perfect backdrop for what would become one of the most unforgettable moments of their lives. In the heart of the garden, Matthew got down on one knee and proposed. To Brittany's surprise, he had arranged for a professional photographer to capture the special moment. After celebrating with a private dinner, the surprises continued. They arrived at her older sister’s home, where both of their families had gathered, having traveled from Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The house was decorated, champagne was ready, and joy filled the air as everyone toasted to the newly engaged couple.
When it came time to plan their wedding, Brittany and Matthew chose Stone Crest Venue in McKinney, Texas. The couple wanted a location outside the city of Dallas, one that captured the charm and peacefulness of the countryside. Stone Crest delivered just that, offering a beautiful and rustic setting that reflected their personalities and vision for the day.

The weekend began with a lively rehearsal dinner at El Mejor Mexican Kitchen + Cantina in McKinney, where friends and family enjoyed margaritas and a delicious fajita bar in a warm and festive atmosphere.
On the big day, Brittany looked stunning in her gown from WED Bridal Boutique. Every detail of the celebration was thoughtfully chosen, from the floral and cake arrangements by Have & Hold to the unforgettable photos and video captured by Epic Photography. The couple's wedding was filled with unique and meaningful touches. Instead of tossing her bouquet, Brittany chose to dedicate it to her mother, creating a moment filled with love and gratitude. Outside the ceremony space, she added a last-minute touch that quickly became a favorite detail… a petal table where guests could grab cones filled with flower petals to toss after the ceremony. It was a joyful and beautiful addition that many guests had never seen before.
One of the most intimate moments of the day was the couple’s private exchange of vows. Choosing not to see each other beforehand, Brittany and Matthew saved this emotional moment for themselves, allowing it to remain special and uniquely theirs.
After their beautiful celebration in Texas, the newlyweds set off for their honeymoon at Hotel Riu Palace in Costa Rica, where they enjoyed an all-inclusive experience in paradise.

Advice for the brides to be: “Focus on What Matters Most: Concentrate on the aspects of your wedding that mean the most to you—whether that’s the venue, the dress, or the experience for your guests—and don’t get caught up in the little details. Stay Organized: Use a planner or digital tools to keep track of your vendors, appointments, and deadlines, which will help reduce stress. Cherish the Day: On your wedding day, be fully present and enjoy every moment—it goes by quickly, so make the most of it. And above all, HAVE FUN—you only get to be a bride once!”.
